Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure AI infrastructure, Kubernetes, open-source, and cloud-native solutions.
- Design, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code for Kubernetes and related components on Azure and open-source platforms.
- Integrate AI capabilities into product development and improve developer efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations, monitor products, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely customer support.
- Mentor and guide engineers while balancing near-term pragmatism with long-term technical vision.
- Improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in languages including Go, Rust, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Preferred: master's degree with 8+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 8+ years of experience involving Linux or Unix-like server environments, containers, Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, Azure, or other cloud management technology.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Go, cloud-native technologies, workload and container orchestration, and Linux environments.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and processes such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and applicable customer or government security screening requirements.
