Responsibilities
- Design and deliver resilient, secure, scalable distributed systems and microservices.
- Develop across the full stack using .NET, SQL, LINQ, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Deploy and manage cloud-hosted microservices using Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Build dashboards, configure alerting, and improve observability and proactive platform health using Datadog, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Dynatrace.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture, scalability, resiliency, security, automation, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Design and scope modules and features, break complex work into executable tasks, and influence engineering standards.
- Mentor onboarding team members and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across the organization.
- Handle PHI and PII in accordance with healthcare compliance and data-sensitivity requirements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical issues outside standard business hours.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software development experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and high-throughput platforms.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET, with hands-on SQL experience including LINQ development and optimization.
- Full-stack development experience with JavaScript and Angular alongside .NET backend work.
- Experience deploying and managing microservices on Google Cloud Platform and/or Azure using Kubernetes.
- Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, ELK Stack, or comparable tools, including dashboards and alerting.
- Strong architectural and system design judgment, troubleshooting ability, communication skills, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Understanding of PHI and PII handling requirements in a regulated healthcare environment.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
