Base Salary
$85k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop robust software solutions using C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to turn computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence research into reliable software.
- Contribute to projects involving 3D reconstruction, object detection, image manipulation detection, motion pattern learning, and anomaly detection.
- Develop software for Linux, macOS, and/or Windows environments.
- Interact with customers, visit customer sites, and participate in live field tests and demonstrations as project needs require.
- Contribute to and maintain open source software, including VIAME and TeleSculptor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with relevant project experience outside an academic setting and/or a master's degree in Computer Science or a relevant subject area.
- Strong programming skills and experience with both C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of software development processes and tools including Visual Studio, gcc, clang, make, CMake, or CDash.
- Ability to develop software for Linux, macOS, and/or Windows.
- Only U.S. citizens will be considered due to contractual requirements.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Preferred: experience with GitHub or GitLab for code reviews, documentation, and release management.
- Preferred: ability to learn AWS technologies including EC2, EBS volumes, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Preferred: ability to learn DevOps tools including Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Vagrant, and Packer.
- Preferred: interest and experience in open source software development and an active government security clearance of TS or higher.
