Base Salary
$127k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural direction on technical patterns within a business segment or domain.
- Contribute to target-state technology architecture and technology roadmaps.
- Conduct hands-on prototyping and technology proofs of concept.
- Support technology modernization initiatives and reduce technical debt through continuous transformation.
- Build foundational relationships, encourage stakeholder buy-in, and guide development teams.
- Analyze business and technical problems, evaluate alternatives, and make sound decisions collaboratively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- At least four additional years of architecture or software engineering experience.
- Recent hands-on architecture and/or engineering experience with modern technologies.
- Experience successfully executing technology modernization initiatives.
- Intermediate leadership, communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working in an agile operating model and understanding of value creation and business capability models.
- Insurance technology experience and knowledge of the insurance industry are preferred.
