Responsibilities

Enhance and maintain Prudential’s core administration system.
Collaborate with front-end application teams to support a robust end-to-end software lifecycle.
Analyze business problems and implement appropriate technical solutions.
Define and document scope changes, technical specifications, and system changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop, customize, enhance, maintain, and support Life/400, Life/Asia, and Integral Life Insurance applications.
Perform unit and integration testing, quality analysis, and pre-acceptance validation.
Collaborate with business teams and Business Analysts to deliver efficient and error-free applications.
Ensure development and implementation comply with IT governance policies.
Review and analyze code produced by junior team members and support their learning and development.
Complete assignments within agreed deadlines.

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or engineering.
At least 8 years of experience with AS/400 and SMART/400-based insurance applications, specializing in Life/400 and LifeAsia.
Experience working with LifeAsia SOAP APIs.
Experience delivering quality SMART/400-based insurance applications.
Knowledge of SQL400, DB2, and COBOL400.
Strong analytical, coordination, and relationship management skills.
Experience with conceptual and functional business process modeling is desirable.
Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus.
Fluent English communication skills.
