Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted relationships with key business and IT stakeholders and understand partners’ business goals and technical solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical and architectural guidance for OpenShift and OpenStack implementations.
  • Perform technical reviews, identify and prevent issues, and advise partners on technology changes, disruptions, and mitigation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, manage partner use cases, and drive escalations with Red Hat, partner, and customer teams.
  • Act as the partner advocate and point of contact during major incidents, managing expectations and communications through resolution.
  • Provide guidance on current and future Red Hat products and communicate how cloud solutions and roadmaps align with partner use cases.
  • Complete operational performance analysis and present periodic reviews to leadership.
  • Create partner engagement plans and maintain accurate case and solution documentation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Technical Support, field teams, customers, and partners to debug, test, and resolve issues.
  • Develop solution patterns with product engineering teams and help drive adoption of Red Hat cloud technologies.
  • Contribute internal knowledge, best practices, projects, initiatives, subject-matter expertise, and mentorship.
  • Travel as necessary to visit partners and attend regional events.

Requirements

  • Experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance organization.
  • Expertise with enterprise cloud solutions such as Red Hat OpenShift, containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of OpenStack and its components.
  • Ability to manage and grow enterprise partner relationships through proactive, relationship-based support.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Competence in enterprise architecture and strategic business drivers.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues and projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Direct experience with a variety of hardware or partner vendors.
  • Experience delivering training and presentations.
  • Experience in system management, cloud, or server virtualization is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline, preferably computer science or engineering, is a plus.
  • Prior technical leadership or mentorship experience is a plus.
