$102k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and operate billing, cost-management, and FinOps platform features with guidance from senior engineers.
- Build reliable and scalable APIs, services, and customer-facing experiences that meter usage, aggregate costs, and present cost and usage insights.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Diagnose and resolve production-service issues, participate in an on-call rotation, and contribute to live-site health.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and partner teams to translate requirements into working software.
- Learn the commerce, metering, and cost-management domain and apply that knowledge to product improvements.
- Use AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot responsibly to accelerate coding, testing, and end-to-end development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Experience building and shipping production software or services.
- Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud services, distributed systems, web experiences, or large-scale data processing.
- Exposure to commerce, billing, metering, usage, or cost/usage reporting and analytics.
- Familiarity with Azure, API design, or telemetry and monitoring.
