Base Salary
$190k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain DevOps products, tools, and services for continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment, and automated provisioning across cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Analyze failures and recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement remediation actions that improve product stability and reliability.
- Lead incident and problem management and collaborate across teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and reporting for tools, services, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support software features through Agile and CI/CD processes.
- Maintain health, monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools, including CloudWatch.
- Develop knowledge-base, process, and procedure documentation and support team-member training.
- Provide guidance on complex issues, assist with escalations, and support EDSO products and services.
- Provide after-business-hours support and rotational 24x7 on-call support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology Management, or a related field and 10 years of experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields and 8 years of experience.
- At least 6 years of IT industry experience using DevOps tools to automate software development processes.
- Application development experience with Java, JavaScript, and Angular, along with application or infrastructure support experience.
- Administration experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, JIRA, Fortify, SonarQube, and Nexus.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux, Git, Maven, OpenShift, Chef, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Scripting or programming experience with Groovy, Python, Terraform, Bash or ksh, and PowerShell.
- Experience with AWS cloud compute, networking, and security services.
- Experience implementing continuous integration, continuous deployment, continuous delivery, and DevOps operations for Agile projects.
- Experience supporting systems from infrastructure, code, and security perspectives.
- Experience with issue and bug tracking tools, incident, problem, and change management, and ITIL processes.
