Base Salary

$123k - $186k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customer stakeholders to define SPM solution vision, roadmaps, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Lead discovery and solution design workshops and architect documented end-to-end functional solutions across the SPM suite.
  • Own functional design and configuration leadership for Salesforce Maps, Sales Planning, Spiff, Sales Programs, and Enterprise Territory Management.
  • Design commission plans and statements, capacity and quota plans, territory models, mapping, and enablement solutions.
  • Apply Agentforce and AI-powered SPM capabilities, including AI-assisted incentive plan design and performance insights.
  • Define solution blueprints, best practices, design standards, scope governance, and quality oversight.
  • Partner with Technical Architects on integrations, data, and custom development.
  • Act as a solution escalation point, mentor consultants, and promote reusable assets and shared standards.
  • Advise customers on SPM operating models, adoption, and best practices.
  • Contribute to proposals, staffing plans, statements of work, discovery, demonstrations, deep dives, and proof-of-concept development.
  • Liaise with Salesforce product teams and maintain target billable utilization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience implementing, designing, or consulting on Sales Performance Management, Incentive Compensation Management, sales planning, or related sales technology solutions, including solution architecture or lead functional design experience.
  • Deep functional expertise in compensation, planning, territory, and enablement, with the ability to design cross-product solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Ability to translate business strategy and requirements into well-architected solutions using strong analytical and business process design skills.
  • Advanced ability to model complex incentive, compensation, and planning logic in formulaic or Excel form and within the platform.
  • Understanding of data modeling and data quality sufficient to partner with Technical Architects, without requiring a software development background.
  • Executive-level oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to scope, define, and manage work packages and support pre-sales qualification with solution validation.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced team members.
  • Based in the US or Canada and available for regional travel based on customer needs.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Salesforce certifications are preferred, including Salesforce Certified Agentforce Sales Consultant and application architect-track certifications.
  • Preferred experience with Spiff or enterprise ICM platforms such as Xactly, SAP/CallidusCloud, Varicent, Anaplan, or CaptivateIQ.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce Sales Planning or enterprise sales planning platforms such as Anaplan, Pigment, or Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Preferred direct experience with Sales Planning, Enterprise Territory Management, Sales Programs, Salesforce Maps, or Spiff.
  • Familiarity with SDLC requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance activities.
  • Accounting and finance understanding related to commissions and revenue, including ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
  • Consulting or Big 4 professional services background and experience in Technology, Finance, or Sales Operations.
