Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and delivery of client engagements.
- Design, implement, deliver, and test Android and iOS applications for consumer banking experiences.
- Write code, guide architectural decisions, and promote strong software engineering practices.
- Lead and mentor engineers while improving team autonomy, capability, and delivery effectiveness.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, product partners, and company leadership.
- Address delivery risks proactively and ensure solutions meet technical, business, user, and client objectives.
Requirements
- Bring 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex commercial-grade software systems, including 4+ years leading Agile teams.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Kotlin and native Android development tools such as Jetpack Compose.
- Have experience with consumer banking applications, including account management and onboarding.
- Have familiarity with third-party library integration and mobile application CI/CD pipelines.
- Understand mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, native iOS development, fraud management, KYC/AML, regulatory reporting, on-device biometrics, released Google Play Store applications, AppConfig, enterprise app distribution, and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, and Copilot.
- A college degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is listed as a bonus qualification.
