Responsibilities
- Implement automated, containerized cloud application platforms involving application and infrastructure concerns such as networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and resilience.
- Serve as a customer-site subject matter expert addressing technical, development, and strategic IT requirements.
- Manage problem identification, system architecture, software specification and design, implementation, testing, customer training, and deployment of enterprise-grade open source solutions.
- Deliver projects on time and within scope, including project journals, status reports, and other standard documentation.
- Understand customer infrastructure and business needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Support consultants, associates, and partners in developing OpenShift-based best practices and methods.
- Learn and apply new technologies to customer needs and select effective methods for solving problems.
Requirements
- Experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders across development and deployment projects.
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies and experience implementing and deploying container technologies in enterprise-wide and highly customized or air-gapped environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Demonstrated experience with Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Hands-on experience implementing DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps-driven workflows.
- Ability to code in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Ability to communicate project value, progress, and metrics to technical and business stakeholders.
- Fluent Spanish and English language skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Practical experience with agile methods, virtualization, artificial intelligence, or Red Hat OpenShift AI is a plus.
- Any Red Hat certification is a plus; RHCE certification or the ability to obtain it within a few weeks of starting is also a plus.
- Interest in, passion for, and experience with open source technologies and communities.
