Base Salary

$157k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
  • Build and enhance a high-profile Wealth Management technology platform as part of an agile engineering team.
  • Deploy regular software updates and adapt solutions to changing business needs and scale.
  • Drive adoption and validation standards for AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, refactoring, and troubleshooting practices.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and project decision-makers.
  • Influence product design, application functionality, technical operations, and engineering processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for firmwide software development frameworks, tools, and practices.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Strong programming experience in Core Java and Python, with experience using REST and GraphQL API frameworks.
  • Experience with TDD, BDD, mocking frameworks, and Java IoC frameworks such as Spring.
  • Understanding of Kafka, SNS, EventBridge, application resiliency, security, and software development processes.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL, caching techniques, and Amazon S3.
  • Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, and compliant engineering practices.
  • Preferred exposure to AI-assisted development, AWS cloud technologies, and AWS certification.
