Senior Solution Architect
Cognite - AI for IndustryResponsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for customer solutions.
- Define enterprise and solution architecture, including integrations, data models, data ingestion pipelines, and user-facing solutions.
- Provide strategic and technical expertise to customers and customer-facing project teams.
- Manage integrations, data modeling, and related activities using Cognite data connectors and extractors, SQL, Python or Java, REST APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Ensure operational responsibility and support agreements for delivered solutions.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, C-level executives, and IT and Business Data Managers to drive product adoption.
- Train internal teams and partners and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to translate customer needs into product offerings.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer.
- Hands-on Python expertise and a strong understanding of software development best practices.
- A technical background and willingness to contribute code for advanced topics when needed.
- Ability to collaborate, lead, coach, work independently, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Energy, Oil and Gas, Pharma, or Life Sciences is preferred.
