Base Salary
$165k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications supporting Object-Based Intelligence mission requirements.
- Develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, user-facing applications, and integrations with ontology services, knowledge graphs, semantic databases, and enterprise data platforms.
- Implement RDF, OWL, and SPARQL-based solutions for semantic search, data integration, and knowledge discovery.
- Integrate applications with relational databases, graph databases, messaging systems, and enterprise APIs.
- Develop secure, containerized, cloud-native applications and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot defects, optimize performance, and ensure application scalability, reliability, and security.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
- Create and maintain software design documentation, API specifications, implementation guides, and operational documentation.
- Support AI/ML initiatives by developing services that provide access to semantic data, contextual knowledge, and enterprise analytics.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to project team members and Government personnel.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph are required.
- At least 10 years of experience with an advanced degree, or 15 years of experience with a bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated enterprise software development experience using Java, Python, C#, or comparable object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
- Experience integrating applications with relational databases, graph databases, or enterprise data platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Familiarity with Agile software development, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience supporting Object-Based Intelligence, Intelligence Community, or Department of Defense mission systems.
- Preferred experience with enterprise ontologies, knowledge graphs, RDF, OWL, SPARQL, AWS, Azure, or Red Hat OpenShift.
- Preferred experience integrating AI/ML services, large language models, or advanced analytics into enterprise applications.
- Preferred experience with secure software development, Government cybersecurity requirements, and RMF principles.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Red Hat Certified Specialist, Security+, or equivalent software development certification.
- Preferred experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership in Agile software development teams.
