Base Salary
$188k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and delivery of multi-tenant file and block storage services.
- Design for IO patterns created by AI pipelines, focusing on performance and throughput.
- Implement storage solutions as first-class Kubernetes citizens, including CSI drivers and dynamic provisioning.
- Utilize technologies like RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, and distributed filesystems to enhance storage performance.
- Drive reliability and observability across the storage stack using telemetry and metrics.
- Lead design reviews and mentor senior engineers in storage system development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in storage systems, database internals, or infrastructure engineering.
- Proven track record of building reliable storage or database systems.
- Strong production experience with distributed file systems and block storage protocols.
- Expertise in systems programming languages such as Rust, C++, or Go.
- Experience building on Kubernetes, including controllers and CSI.
