Responsibilities
- Create scalable software frameworks and secure, high-quality production code.
- Design and build APIs, query interfaces, data pipelines, and integrations for firmwide code intelligence and semantic-tree data.
- Own query latency, data freshness, resiliency, capacity, and cost characteristics as platform consumption grows.
- Architect and govern enterprise-authorized agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows with validation, security, resiliency, auditability, and reuse guardrails.
- Define contracts, versioning, service levels, consumption patterns, reference integrations, and standards for platform users.
- Automate and operationalize SDLC controls, compliance checks, audit evidence collection, and engineering workflows against code structure.
- Review and debug code, advise cross-functional teams, and influence senior leaders and executives.
- Drive adoption of the internal platform across multiple engineering teams without breaking existing consumers.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages.
- Experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices, including human-in-the-loop validation, auditability, secure data handling, responsible AI, and risk-based governance.
- Experience solving complex technology problems and communicating effectively with senior leaders and executives.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Experience designing and operating platform APIs and data services, including contract design, versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Hands-on experience building high-volume, data-intensive systems where query latency, data freshness, and index or storage design are critical.
- Experience delivering an internal platform as a product and driving adoption through consumption patterns, reference implementations, and documentation.
- Preferred experience with abstract syntax trees, symbol or dependency graphs, large-scale code search indexes, queryable source-code representations, SDLC controls, audit evidence collection, regulatory checks, developer-facing tooling, or AI-assisted development context.
