Responsibilities
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions using OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks, and semantic models.
- Ingest, transform, and orchestrate cloud, on-premises, structured, semi-structured, and streaming data using SQL, PySpark, and KQL where applicable.
- Design enterprise Power BI semantic models, DAX measures, reports, dashboards, datasets, and governance strategies.
- Optimize analytics workloads for performance, reliability, monitoring, security, capacity usage, refresh, query, and report performance.
- Lead customer discovery, architecture and design sessions, workshops, assessments, proofs of concept, pilots, optimization engagements, migrations, and production deployments.
- Advise customers on modernization from Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and related analytics environments to Microsoft Fabric.
- Produce technical documentation, architecture decisions, implementation guidance, and reusable delivery assets.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders, CSAMs, delivery teams, architects, engineers, analysts, and partner teams.
- Mentor engineers, review technical designs and deliverables, and support technical readiness and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure solutions align with Microsoft security, compliance, privacy, and data governance guidance.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience with Power BI, including semantic models, DAX, Power Query, report development, security, performance tuning, and enterprise deployment.
- Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience across areas such as OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI.
- Strong experience with data integration, ETL/ELT, orchestration, data modeling, and enterprise-scale analytics architectures.
- Practical SQL skills and working knowledge of PySpark; KQL experience is required for candidates delivering real-time intelligence scenarios.
- Experience securing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing analytics solutions.
- Experience with Git-based source control, deployment pipelines, or CI/CD for data and analytics solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, stakeholder management, and customer-facing communication skills.
- Ability to lead delivery independently while collaborating across distributed teams.
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600) and/or Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700) is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise or regulated-industry data and analytics solutions, Fabric capacity planning, administration, governance, Power BI capacity management, real-time analytics, Eventstreams, Eventhouse, KQL-based solutions, or analytics platform modernization is preferred.
- Background in consulting, advisory, or customer-facing technical delivery is preferred.
- English is mandatory; Finnish is preferred, and Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish is advantageous.
