Base Salary

$123k - $186k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customer stakeholders to define SPM solution vision, roadmaps, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Lead discovery and solution-design workshops and architect documented end-to-end functional solutions across the SPM suite.
  • Lead functional design and configuration across Salesforce Maps, Sales Planning, Spiff, Sales Programs, and Enterprise Territory Management.
  • Model commission plans, statements, capacity, quota, territory, mapping, and enablement processes.
  • Apply Agentforce and AI-powered SPM capabilities to improve delivery and customer outcomes.
  • Define solution blueprints, best practices, design standards, scope governance, and quality oversight.
  • Partner with Technical Architects on integrations, data, and custom development alignment.
  • Serve as an escalation point, mentor consultants, and promote reusable assets and shared standards.
  • Advise customers on SPM operating models, adoption, and best practices.
  • Support proposals, staffing plans, statements of work, discovery, demonstrations, deep dives, and proof-of-concept development.
  • Liaise with Salesforce product teams and maintain target billable utilization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience implementing, designing, or consulting on Sales Performance Management, Incentive Compensation Management, sales planning, or related sales technology solutions, including solution architecture or lead functional design experience.
  • Deep expertise in SPM compensation, planning, territory, and enablement domains and cross-product Salesforce solution design.
  • Strong analytical, business-process design, requirements translation, and complex incentive and planning logic modeling skills.
  • Sufficient understanding of data modeling and data quality to partner effectively with Technical Architects, without requiring software development experience.
  • Executive-level written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to scope and manage work packages and support pre-sales qualification and solution validation.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced team members.
  • Based in the US or Canada and available for regional travel based on customer needs.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Preferred: Salesforce certifications, including Agentforce Sales Consultant and application architect-track certifications.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with Spiff or enterprise ICM platforms such as Xactly, SAP/CallidusCloud, Varicent, Anaplan, or CaptivateIQ.
  • Preferred: hands-on Salesforce Sales Planning or enterprise sales-planning platform experience, including Anaplan, Pigment, or Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Preferred: experience with Sales Planning, Enterprise Territory Management, Sales Programs, Salesforce Maps, or Spiff.
  • Preferred: familiarity with SDLC requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Preferred: accounting or finance knowledge related to commissions and revenue, including ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
  • Preferred: consulting or Big 4 professional services experience and experience in Technology, Finance, or Sales Operations.
