Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services, microservices, and APIs.
- Architect distributed systems for high transaction volumes with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Build service-to-service communication using REST, Kafka, and gRPC.
- Design and optimize database architectures using MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
- Lead system design discussions and technical decision-making across engineering teams.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead performance tuning across services and databases.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, including object-oriented design, concurrency, and multithreading.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Core.
- Expertise developing RESTful APIs and gRPC communication.
- Experience with Hibernate for ORM and database interaction.
- Proficiency building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Docker and experience with Kubernetes.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and domain-driven design.
- Advanced skills in MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch database management and optimization.
- Experience with Java REST Web API development.
