Senior Software Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design and build large-scale, multi-region infrastructure platforms and automation systems that improve developer experience.
- Contribute to the technical strategy, roadmap, evolution, and modernization of the core engineering platform.
- Lead proof-of-concepts, evaluate emerging technologies, and conduct platform research.
- Analyze complex systems to resolve instability, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance, code-level support, and mentorship to engineers.
- Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to engineering peers, partner teams, and leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience with hands-on Java and AWS proficiency.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce Platform, including Metadata, Tooling, and REST APIs, Flows, Profiles, Permission Sets, and its security model.
- Experience architecting and implementing large-scale distributed systems serving thousands of users.
- Deep experience with AWS networking, security, and serverless services.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, containerization, service mesh, and advanced orchestration patterns.
- Experience with infrastructure as code at scale using Terraform Enterprise or custom-built solutions.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD platform architecture, Jenkins Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and custom pipeline orchestration.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven patterns, and platform scalability challenges.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical topics to senior leadership.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Preferred experience includes large-scale Salesforce implementations, MuleSoft, Tableau, Kafka and modern data platforms, Python or Node.js, and regulatory compliance frameworks such as SOX, FedRAMP, or GDPR.
