Base Salary
$115k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Independently own large-scale projects from initial discovery through launch with a focus on outcomes and customer impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve customer challenges.
- Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems.
- Promote engineering excellence through technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
- Add capabilities to high-volume, fault-tolerant processing infrastructure.
- Enhance testing, monitoring, and continuous deployment infrastructure.
- Keep extremely sensitive data compartmentalized and secure.
Requirements
- At least one year of professional development experience.
- Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby; Go experience is a plus.
- Solid SQL skills and understanding of database fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including basic deployment and monitoring.
- Interest in helping junior developers and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
- Experience collaborating with designers and product managers on feature development.
