Responsibilities
- Test the Chrome extension and web application across multiple browsers and operating systems using detailed test plans.
- Create detailed error reports with video-recording and task-management software.
- Create automated end-to-end tests with the company’s drag-and-drop E2E testing tool to gate new releases.
- Work live with engineers to reproduce and understand errors and improve platform robustness.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in QA or web development.
- Experience with web development, including functions and algorithms.
- Strong familiarity with the Chrome debugger, including the console, network, and application windows.
- Ability to code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with prior website-building experience.
- A degree in IT or Computer Science, or 4 years of work experience.
- Fluent English communication.
- Ability to work hybrid in Toronto or New York City with work authorization, or remotely while attending meetings from 9am to 6pm Eastern Standard Time.
- Experience debugging Chrome extensions is a bonus.
