Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality services and components for Adobe’s enterprise cloud storage platform.
- Own the full project lifecycle from user stories and design through development, testing, review, documentation, and maintenance.
- Use AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, and responsible AI practices to accelerate development, testing, debugging, code review, and documentation.
- Build and evolve scalable cloud-based services while collaborating with a distributed and adaptable engineering team.
- Apply standard software engineering practices and maintain a high quality bar.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science with a strong academic record, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of backend software development experience.
- Strong data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in Java and related technologies such as Spring Boot.
- Experience designing, building, and evolving scalable cloud-based services on AWS or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
- Experience with prompt engineering for generating code, tests, or documentation.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly in production code, with attention to quality, security, and avoiding over-reliance.
- Strong learning ability, adaptability, written and verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs or agentic workflows into applications or tooling is a plus.
- Experience with MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, or Kafka is a bonus.
