Responsibilities
- Build and maintain API automation frameworks from scratch.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, TestNG, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Develop and execute automated REST API test scripts using REST Assured.
- Provide functional, integration, and regression test coverage across frontend and backend layers.
- Deliver automation coverage within Agile sprints and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Test AI-driven features or use generative AI tools to optimize the testing lifecycle.
- Communicate testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Require 8+ years of professional software testing experience with a strong emphasis on test automation.
- Require at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java-based test automation frameworks, including Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Require at least 2 years of API automation testing experience using REST Assured.
- Demonstrate knowledge of object-oriented programming, test design patterns such as Page Object Model, modular framework construction, REST APIs, HTTP methods, authentication, and JSON/XML.
- Have experience independently developing automation frameworks.
- Understand CI/CD integration tools and practices, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Banking domain experience is preferred.
- GitHub Copilot experience is highly preferred.
