Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, flexible, and high-performance systems with end-to-end ownership.
  • Monitor and adjust SLIs and SLOs and perform incident management.
  • Resolve issues across mobile applications, websites, and internal systems based on customer and business impact.
  • Act as an intermediary between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support and evaluate large-scale experimentation and testing.
  • Evaluate customer needs, programming languages, architectures, and risks to determine effective solutions.
  • Contribute to interviewing, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, training, and other recruitment activities.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong programming skills and experience with at least two server-side programming languages.
  • Experience building web applications, distributed systems, and products serving millions of customers.
  • Advanced experience with TypeScript, SQL/NoSQL, and AWS.
  • Experience with Python, Go, and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture, microservices, and object-oriented programming patterns.
  • Experience owning systems end to end and handling incident management.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, and technical leadership skills.
  • Experience driving technical, business, or people initiatives that improve productivity, performance, or quality.
  • Prior mentoring, coaching, or team training experience is preferred.
