Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design scalable and resilient Spring Boot microservices and Java commerce solutions.
- Guide end-to-end backend architecture and frontend integrations for enterprise commerce flows.
- Define microservice decomposition, service contracts, data flows, architecture standards, and governance practices.
- Review application designs and code for architectural, security, and enterprise technology alignment.
- Translate commerce requirements into scalable technical architectures.
- Promote coding patterns, testing strategies, observability, monitoring, and operational excellence practices.
- Partner with infrastructure and platform teams to optimize deployment pipelines, environments, and resource utilization.
- Evaluate Java ecosystem tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and reference implementations to engineering teams.
- Analyze performance and reliability metrics, document architectural decisions, and support incident root-cause investigations.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise designing and implementing Spring Boot microservices for high-volume enterprise transactions.
- Strong proficiency in Java-based full stack engineering for commerce platforms, backend services, integration patterns, and modern web applications.
- Extensive experience with API design, RESTful services, and data modeling for scalable distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks, build tools, CI/CD practices, and version control systems.
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, caching, asynchronous processing, and scalability techniques.
- Understanding of security best practices, authentication, authorization, and data protection for customer-facing applications.
- Experience with containerized deployments and cloud-ready enterprise architectures.
- Preferred experience defining enterprise architecture standards and governance across large digital commerce ecosystems.
- Preferred ability to lead technical teams and influence decisions across multiple product and engineering groups.
- Preferred experience with observability, monitoring, operational excellence, and evaluating emerging Java frameworks and tools.
