Responsibilities
- Transform research prototypes and algorithms into production-grade AI/ML MVPs.
- Design, develop, deploy, and evaluate end-to-end AI/ML applications, LLMs, model-serving systems, and data pipelines.
- Build backend services in Python and C++, frontend interfaces in React and JavaScript, and integrations with APIs and cloud services.
- Architect and deploy AWS-based systems using CloudFormation or similar infrastructure tools.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, implement QA automation and DevOps practices, and manage Docker-based applications.
- Design secure architectures with authentication, authorization, encryption, vulnerability management, monitoring, logging, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and cross-functional teams; participate in Agile planning and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote software engineering best practices.
- Manage source code, branching, releases, issues, features, and technical debt using Git-based workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least one production deployment of an LLM or machine learning model project.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience integrating and deploying LLMs using Hugging Face, open-source models, or LLM APIs.
- Experience with PyTorch, vLLM, and scikit-learn.
- Experience with AWS, GitHub/GitLab workflows, Git, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, applying DevOps practices, and implementing QA automation.
- Participation in multiple large-scale product projects across different domains and understanding of the full software product lifecycle.
- Ability to work autonomously, translate high-level requirements into technical specifications, adapt quickly, solve complex problems, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience with MLflow, DVC, FastAPI, TorchServe, confidential computing, TEE, AI security, GPU or TPU acceleration, performance profiling, A/B testing frameworks, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
