Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services for Azure AI Platform workloads across air-gapped and sovereign cloud environments.
- Apply automation, observability, testing, resiliency, and secure-by-default practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop automated systems for deployment, validation, telemetry, and operations.
- Use GitHub Copilot and safe LLM workflows for coding, debugging, documentation, and prototyping.
- Participate in on-call rotations, investigate service issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
- Incorporate customer and partner feedback into engineering decisions.
- Collaborate across engineering teams through clear communication and canonical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI access based on an SSBI with polygraph.
- Ability to satisfy required Microsoft, customer, and government security screenings, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- U.S. citizenship verification is required for applicable citizenship-based restrictions.
- Preferred: master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS cloud platforms.
- Preferred: proficiency in C# or Python and understanding of CI/CD and automation best practices.
- Preferred: problem-solving, debugging, and rapid learning skills in evolving AI and infrastructure environments.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is $102,100–$202,200 per year, with a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range of $133,800–$219,200 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for a minimum of five days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
