Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver production-grade software aligned with technical specifications and healthcare compliance standards.
- Build and maintain user interfaces, databases, APIs, and client-facing displays across the healthcare platform.
- Drive technical design, architect complex features, evaluate trade-offs, and make maintainability-focused engineering decisions.
- Write optimized, documented source code and maintain architecture decision records, design specifications, and runbooks.
- Debug existing software, identify root causes, and improve system performance, reliability, and release quality.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests, participate in staging validation and UAT coordination, and monitor production rollouts.
- Develop technology solutions that streamline clinical workflows and reduce manual overhead.
- Collaborate with product managers, clinicians, QA, DevOps, data science, and compliance teams.
- Work independently on ambiguous problems, communicate progress to stakeholders, and maintain high standards for quality and precision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of total software development experience.
- Proven experience building and delivering complex, scalable software systems; healthcare experience is preferred.
- Strong programming expertise in C# and the .NET framework.
- Required experience with MVC architecture, design patterns, and Entity Framework.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Experience with Angular or React is an advantage; JavaScript and jQuery experience is required.
- Proficiency in automation testing and Test-Driven Development principles.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, with exposure to Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Azure or AWS and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in small teams in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
