Base Salary
$183k - $272k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define technical and strategic direction for large-scale HCLS cloud transformations, including AI/ML, Generative AI, data modernization, and regulated cloud migrations.
- Architect complex, multi-system solutions and create reusable reference architectures, methodologies, whitepapers, frameworks, and prescriptive guidance.
- Advise C-suite leaders, business decision makers, and senior technical executives on long-term technology and business strategy.
- Own end-to-end solution programs from strategy and architecture through customer realization.
- Translate customer insights into engineering requirements and influence AWS service team product roadmaps.
- Partner with account management, professional services, support, product teams, and the AWS partner ecosystem to drive AWS adoption.
- Lead programs that scale best practices, mentor and grow the HCLS Solutions Architect community, and conduct Principal SA Technical Promotion Assessments.
- Contribute to strategic planning, capability-gap identification, hiring decisions, and long-term team direction.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in relevant technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
- Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences at the C-level, including through training, workshops, and publications.
- Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of database design and implementation, or equivalent.
- Strong presentation and whiteboarding skills, with comfort engaging executives, IT management, and developers.
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

- The listed base salary varies by location: $182,800-$247,300 annually in Boston, Massachusetts, and $201,000-$272,000 annually in New York, New York.
