Base Salary
$132k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and ship fullstack solutions, primarily using Java and React, based on customer requirements and product gaps.
- Gather requirements from customers and field teams, translate ambiguous needs into technical strategies, and inform product planning.
- Design, deliver, and document customer integrations and deployments alongside customer engineering teams.
- Make upstream contributions to the core platform and build tooling that scales repeatable Forward Deploy patterns.
- Architect end-to-end solutions, write and review technical specifications, and document implementation trade-offs.
- Review code for quality, security, and efficiency while responding to customer and internal escalations.
- Create runbooks, integration documentation, enablement materials, and executive-level technical communications.
- Mentor colleagues and collaborate across engineering, product, sales, customers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience spanning both backend and frontend development.
- Deep proficiency in at least one production programming language, with Java strongly preferred and 5+ years of Java experience preferred.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems or data-intensive services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead substantial work end-to-end under ambiguity and across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working directly with customers or senior stakeholders to shape technical solutions.
- Working familiarity with modern Java, React, TypeScript, Kafka, Redis, GraphQL, and Node.js is expected or likely to be developed.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and ability to reason about distributed-system trade-offs such as the CAP theorem.
- Cybersecurity domain experience, including areas such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, log pipelines, detection engineering, or threat hunting, is strongly preferred.
- Strong written communication, technical judgment, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
