Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship solutions efficiently for both large and small projects.
- Define and propose solutions amidst ambiguous requirements.
- Write and present design documents for projects.
- Own development and rollout for small to mid-sized projects.
- Write clean technical specifications and identify risks.
- Improve code structure and architecture in data pipelines.
- Break down initiatives that span multiple sprints.
- Lead feature development with 1-2 collaborators.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of proficiency in at least one primary programming language (e.g., Python, Scala).
- Experience with at least one Data Warehouse or data lake platform such as Databricks.
- Ability to write sophisticated code and learn new technologies independently.
- Familiarity with developing distributed systems and scalable data pipelines.
- Experience with data technologies like Spark or Flink.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and server-side API integration.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud resources (S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Experience in orchestrating CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Helm, and Terraform.
- Strong documentation and data debugging skills.
- Ability to translate vague requirements into scalable data solutions.
