Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test solutions in a high-throughput, low-latency microservices environment.
- Enhance system observability through metrics, monitors, and alerts.
- Translate product user stories into actionable engineering tasks.
- Take ownership of one or more team domain areas.
- Use automated AI tools in accordance with company policy.
- Participate in on-call rotations according to the team’s escalation policy and support schedule.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across teams and systems.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Java and ORMs.
- Experience with ReactJS or similar frontend frameworks and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres.
- Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Preferred experience with SpringBoot and related Spring projects, AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Kinesis, SNS/SQS, and Ad Tech domain knowledge.
