Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React.js, and JavaScript.
- Guide technical design discussions, contribute to architecture and technology roadmaps, and identify technical risks and bottlenecks.
- Build backend services, responsive frontend applications, RESTful APIs, system integrations, and database solutions.
- Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, availability, security, maintainability, and observability.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, release planning, peer reviews, documentation, and engineering process improvements.
- Implement unit, integration, and automated testing and maintain adherence to coding and development standards.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications, deploy and monitor cloud-hosted applications, and provide production support.
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex frontend, backend, API, database, infrastructure, and production issues.
- Apply secure coding practices and support privacy, security, regulatory, and organizational compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Use GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar AI development tools for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and automation, while validating generated code.
- Identify opportunities for AI-assisted workflow automation and contribute to LLM, AI service, or intelligent assistant integrations where applicable.
Requirements
- 7+ years of overall IT industry experience.
- Experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with React.js, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and Redux or Context API.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Azure or GCP, and Git.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, API design, unit and integration testing, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI coding assistants and creating prompts for software development tasks.
- Experience validating AI-generated code for quality, security, and maintainability.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, including privacy, security, compliance, and ethics.
- Familiarity with integrating LLMs, AI services, or intelligent assistants into enterprise applications.
- Experience or familiarity with event-driven architecture, GraphQL, Prometheus, Grafana, distributed systems, performance tuning, Kafka, and GCP Pub/Sub.
