Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality software and prototype AI features to solve complex business problems.
- Contribute to architecture, design, coding standards, automated testing, and software delivery practices.
- Own, scope, and deliver defined features, functions, components, or stories.
- Mentor junior team members and lead code reviews and pull-request reviews.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate progress through agile ceremonies.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and apply security practices such as threat modeling.
- Evaluate new technologies and technical solutions using a data-driven approach.
- Share knowledge through internal tech talks, blogging, and external events.
Requirements
- Exposure to TypeScript and Node.js.
- GenAI exposure or a demonstrated interest in AI.
- A third-level qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM subject plus three years of commercial software development experience; or current, valid industry-recognized certifications plus five years of commercial software development experience.
- Experience using deployment-oriented DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, or similar.
- Experience designing and delivering features or functions as part of an agile software development team.
- Experience working with Product Owners, customers, end users, or stakeholders in software, solution, or product delivery.
- Preferred experience developing cloud-native solutions, ideally with AWS.
- React or other framework exposure.
- Interest in observability, reliability, and security, along with adaptability, experimentation, and collaborative communication skills.
