Responsibilities
- Design and develop performance measurement, analytics, and performance reporting software.
- Build scalable and robust ETL data flows for a large data platform.
- Develop object-oriented software using Java and/or Python.
- Work with Spark and cloud infrastructure including AWS, AWS EMR, Docker, and EKS.
- Apply DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous delivery tools and practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and multiple teams in an agile Scrum development environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technology-related field such as engineering or computer science.
- Minimum 5+ years of design and development experience.
- Strong experience with Snowflake and Oracle.
- Experience with Java and/or Python object-oriented software development.
- Hands-on experience with Spark; Java or Scala experience is applicable.
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies, Docker, and EKS.
- Strong design and analysis skills for large data platforms.
- Experience with Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Financial services industry experience is preferred but not required.
