Responsibilities

Design, integrate, and implement platforms, applications, databases, web applications, and distributed services.
Perform complex Java and full-stack development assignments and maintain or modify existing services and web applications.
Design and develop microservices, APIs, and solutions using modern frameworks and technologies such as Spring Boot.
Investigate and support critical production problems as a technical subject matter expert.
Collaborate with customers to define business requirements and provide input on client solutions.
Identify and implement technical and process improvements using maintainable software craftsmanship practices.
Mentor, coach, train, and provide technical guidance to developers and Professional Apprentices.
Lead project and communication meetings with clients and present to management, clients, and peer groups.
Conduct research into new technologies, tools, components, and frameworks and handle project reporting as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Five years of experience as a Software Developer, Java Full Stack Developer, or related professional role.
Five years of information technology experience and mainstream development experience with technologies such as Node.js, JavaScript, Java, or .NET.
Five years of experience working with Database Management Systems and object-oriented analysis and design.
Experience designing and developing microservices and working with modern microservice frameworks and technologies, including Spring Boot.
Experience with full-stack web application development, API development, distributed services, containers, CI/CD technologies and concepts, modern cloud providers, and Domain Driven Design.
Experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements.
