Responsibilities
- Design, integrate, and implement platforms, applications, databases, web applications, and distributed services.
- Perform complex Java and full-stack development assignments and maintain or modify existing services and web applications.
- Design and develop microservices, APIs, and solutions using modern frameworks and technologies such as Spring Boot.
- Investigate and support critical production problems as a technical subject matter expert.
- Collaborate with customers to define business requirements and provide input on client solutions.
- Identify and implement technical and process improvements using maintainable software craftsmanship practices.
- Mentor, coach, train, and provide technical guidance to developers and Professional Apprentices.
- Lead project and communication meetings with clients and present to management, clients, and peer groups.
- Conduct research into new technologies, tools, components, and frameworks and handle project reporting as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Five years of experience as a Software Developer, Java Full Stack Developer, or related professional role.
- Five years of information technology experience and mainstream development experience with technologies such as Node.js, JavaScript, Java, or .NET.
- Five years of experience working with Database Management Systems and object-oriented analysis and design.
- Experience designing and developing microservices and working with modern microservice frameworks and technologies, including Spring Boot.
- Experience with full-stack web application development, API development, distributed services, containers, CI/CD technologies and concepts, modern cloud providers, and Domain Driven Design.
- Experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements.
