Base Salary
$225k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the AHEAD virtual team for network infrastructure.
- Design, architect, and consult on network infrastructure and network security solutions for clients.
- Partner with sales representatives to develop account strategies and support technical sales campaigns.
- Identify technologies and vendors, maintain vendor relationships, and collaborate with partner management teams.
- Size and configure products and develop optimized proposals for customer technical and business requirements.
- Prepare pre-sales documentation, including configurations, pricing, services, presentations, and business justifications.
- Qualify opportunities based on technical requirements, decision-making processes, and funding.
- Present and market proposed solutions and their business value to customers, prospects, and management.
- Mentor entry-level team members and leverage specialist resources as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- Pre-sales and data center experience are required.
- Deep understanding of campus wired and wireless technologies, including wireless principles, site surveys, and Ekahau.
- Strong campus/LAN, Cisco, Cisco Nexus, IP routing, core data center, network management, and network security knowledge.
- Familiarity with Palo Alto, Fortinet, SASE, VMware NSX, Arista, F5, NetScaler, AWS, Azure, cloud connectivity, and network fundamentals.
- Experience working as a technical lead in a pre-sales sales campaign.
- Cisco certifications are highly recommended, and wireless certifications are viewed favorably.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, independence, and customer-focus skills.
- Ability or willingness to learn SDN, network security, load balancing, edge and acceleration, and cloud technologies.
