Responsibilities
- Partner with strategic account teams to understand enterprise customers’ business, security, and architectural challenges.
- Build relationships with customer security teams, architects, and executive stakeholders.
- Design and present end-to-end cybersecurity architectures for network, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor during sales processes and lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Support account planning, technical opportunity qualification, RFI/RFP responses, and technical proposal development.
- Educate customers and partners on cybersecurity threats, emerging technologies, and security architecture best practices.
- Represent Check Point in technical discussions, industry events, and customer forums.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of presales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting experience in IT or cybersecurity.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Experience with network security, cloud security, identity, or threat prevention technologies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security architectures, and modern infrastructure environments.
- Solid knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid architectures.
- Ability to discuss complex architectures with enterprise architects, security leaders, and CIO/CISO organizations.
- General understanding of AI technologies and their impact on enterprise architectures.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol servers or similar AI integration frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with APIs, automation, scripting, or software development practices is desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Professional fluency in German at C2 level and English.
