Responsibilities
- Design and build MAC firmware for multi-band and multi-link wireless systems.
- Define and implement link-layer protocol behavior, including transport, retransmission, and host interfaces.
- Integrate MAC–PHY control covering sequencing, timing, and per-packet behavior.
- Write real-time, RTOS-based firmware on embedded processors.
- Work with DMA, interrupts, timers, and embedded system interfaces.
- Debug across firmware, hardware, and RF.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in embedded firmware with solid wireless or connectivity experience.
- Hands-on experience with wireless PHY-MAC and link-layer development.
- Strong embedded C skills and real RTOS experience, such as FreeRTOS.
- Experience with interrupts, DMA, timers, and UART, SPI, and I2C bring-up and debugging.
- Practical understanding of wireless timing, scheduling, retransmission, and multi-client systems.
- Desired experience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or other wireless stacks.
- Desired experience with multi-band or multi-link systems and multi-core or SMP RTOS firmware.
- Desired experience with descriptor-based DMA, scatter-gather, or other high-throughput embedded data paths.
- Desired experience with RISC-V or other non-ARM embedded cores.
- Experience with I2S or other audio-facing interfaces is helpful.
