Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and maintain scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure software solutions.
- Build full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and related frameworks.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Implement unit testing, Test-Driven Development, code reviews, secure coding, and software quality practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, application observability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
- Lead or guide development teams through mentoring, technical decision-making, complex assignments, and knowledge sharing.
- Identify and mitigate risks, strengthen controls, and contribute to policies, procedures, and technology communities.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and Test-Driven Development.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL, and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience with containerized application development and deployment using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, Wiz, Prisma, Maven or Gradle, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as IBM MQ and Kafka or similar event-driven platforms.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams within banking or financial services environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Preferred qualifications include development-team leadership, mentoring, payment or corporate banking domain knowledge, observability tools, application security, legacy modernization, Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, and API-led integrations.
