Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, operate, and maintain Blitzy’s self-hosted platform in a customer-controlled secure cloud environment.
- Own Kubernetes-based releases, upgrades, capacity planning, and performance benchmarking for compute-intensive AI workloads.
- Design and maintain logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, observability, incident management, and on-call operations within the customer’s security boundary.
- Partner with customer infrastructure, security, and governance teams on provisioning, reviews, documentation, and operational escalations.
- Handle sensitive customer data according to security requirements and promote security best practices.
- Feed deployment lessons learned into Blitzy’s product and infrastructure roadmap.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Ability to complete a customer background and badging process.
- Strong Kubernetes and container-orchestration proficiency, including deployment into isolated or restricted customer environments.
- Hands-on experience deploying software into customer-controlled or restricted environments and operating in highly regulated network environments.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi and at least one major cloud platform.
- Deep expertise in observability tooling, incident management, and on-call practices.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customer engineering, security, and governance stakeholders.
- Familiarity with sensitive data handling and security frameworks used in regulated industries.
- Experience supporting AI/ML workloads or their supporting infrastructure.
- Prior forward-deployed, residency, or embedded-engineer experience at an enterprise customer site.
