Responsibilities

  • Lead the backend development team and drive technical decisions.
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java.
  • Mentor and guide team members to improve skills and delivery.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Ensure engineering best practices, code quality, and technical debt management.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in backend systems.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience leading teams and driving technical decisions.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with reactive programming using Reactor or Akka.
  • Preferred knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Preferred familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Kafka.
