Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, robust technical solutions across APIs, application logic, persistence, performance, reliability, testing, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
- Develop server-side applications and microservices using Java, Scala, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and related frameworks.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and deployment.
- Analyze user requirements and design system features and functionality in partnership with end users and business users.
- Mentor less experienced team members, promote development best practices, and produce high-quality code.
- Collaborate with a global team of technologists and business users while contributing ideas and innovation.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of total experience, including at least 4 years of relevant experience with Core Java, Java RESTful APIs, Gradle or Maven, Spring, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
- Strong object-oriented design and development skills and experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience building server-side applications using J2EE technologies and highly scalable, secure, fault-tolerant microservices.
- Experience building cloud or cloud-ready applications.
- Proficiency with database technologies, complex SQL queries, data modeling, and performance tuning, preferably with PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or DB2.
- Strong Linux experience and experience with Python, Perl, and Unix shell scripting such as Bash.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, source control such as Git, Jenkins, and Agile software tools such as Jira.
- Preferred experience with React, Angular, and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering, or the listed B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or MBA qualification.
