Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural direction of Zocdoc's billing system.
- Build, maintain, and improve modern event-driven billing workflows.
- Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Design to address billing needs.
- Define and implement best practices for code quality and system reliability.
- Ensure ongoing accuracy and stability of the billing engine.
- Integrate generative AI tools to optimize technical planning and coding efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience in high-performance backend services.
- Familiarity with cloud-native environments like AWS.
- Strong project ownership mentality and ability to drive projects to completion.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools into workflows.
- Leadership experience in testing, deployment, and observability practices.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
