Responsibilities
- Define and continuously evolve the Innovation and Product Development application landscape in alignment with business strategy, enterprise architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and future capabilities.
- Design end-to-end solutions supporting Innovation, Product Development, HR, and Safety, Health & Environment business capabilities.
- Create architecture diagrams, solution designs, integration specifications, technical documentation, and architecture decision records.
- Ensure solutions meet business requirements and comply with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, technology, and responsible AI standards.
- Participate in architecture review boards, design authority forums, architecture communities, and delivery governance processes.
- Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs and implementation approaches while managing stakeholder expectations and delivery risks.
- Enable digital capabilities for product design, product development, sample development, and product lifecycle processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and drive opportunities involving Generative AI, Agentic AI, Intelligent Automation, and AI-assisted software engineering.
- Review solution implementations, contribute reusable architecture patterns and standards, and manage architecture risks and technical debt.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of overall Information Technology experience, including at least three years in a Solution Architect or similar architecture-focused role.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade, large-scale business applications, platforms, and digital products.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, secure, and business-aligned solution architectures.
- Experience across domains such as Product Development, Product Lifecycle Management, Human Resources, Safety, Health & Environment, or ERP.
- Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Business Analysts, engineering teams, and senior business stakeholders.
- Ability to lead solution design across the full software development lifecycle from concept through implementation.
- Solid experience with Microsoft Azure or another leading cloud platform.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, identity and access management, data protection, security architecture, and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, or enterprise AI solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, relationship-building, and continuous-improvement skills.
