Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts, business users, and external systems integrators to conceptualize and develop enterprise application integrations.
- Perform software development lifecycle activities and create efficient technical integration designs from functional specifications.
- Develop complex technical objects, APIs, data integrations, and distributed cloud solutions according to development standards and best practices.
- Analyze, evaluate, and support the impact of Oracle release upgrades on existing integrations.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT, data ingestion, replication, orchestration, streaming, and data conversion solutions.
- Create and resolve Oracle service requests and diagnose software bugs and system issues.
- Mitigate risks associated with technically complex projects and execute data engineering projects individually or as part of a team.
- Support application integration architectures, data models, version control, software configuration management, and deployment processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Five years of experience as a Software Developer, Technology Consultant, Data Engineer, IT Analyst, or related role.
- Five years of IT experience, application and system integration development, and distributed cloud solution design.
- Five years of experience with ETL/ELT tools and cloud services including Informatica, Matillion, AWS Glue, GCP BigQuery, Snowflake stored procedures, or advanced SQL.
- Five years of hands-on experience with on-premises or cloud databases including Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, Sybase, AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL Database, or Oracle Database Cloud Service.
- Two years of experience with data orchestration tools, large-volume data architectures, data streaming, and DevOps using CI/CD.
- Experience with IDMC, Fivetran, Matillion, REST APIs, Python, Spark, Databricks, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, IICS, Oracle Integration Cloud, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models and executing data engineering and data conversion projects.
