Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, implement, and support application software for mission-critical merchandise accounting systems.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including post-implementation support.
- Work with business units to identify requirements and determine project technical requirements.
- Analyze project feasibility and cost-benefit considerations.
- Perform complex programming assignments using established programming standards, methods, and best practices.
- Provide technical consulting to management and business users.
- Collaborate with and mentor other developers.
- Apply Oracle performance tuning and unit testing methods for PL/SQL.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Five years of experience as a Developer, Senior Consultant, Project Manager, or in a related role.
- Five years of IT experience and five years working across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Five years of experience developing database applications in an Oracle environment.
- Five years of experience with stored procedures, triggers, packages, functions, and complex queries.
- Three years of experience working with customers to formulate business requirements.
- Three years of experience with Oracle performance tuning techniques and unit testing methods for PL/SQL using SQL Developer.
- Must be at least eighteen years old.
