Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests through enterprise ticketing workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and integration issues.
- Perform performance tuning and optimize mainframe applications and database queries.
- Create technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
- Evaluate functional and technical requirements and recommend implementation or change options.
- Act as a technical lead while guiding junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of specialized technical experience in mainframe application development, support, and maintenance.
- Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
- Experience with enterprise ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and Service Manager.
- Experience with version control systems and software development tools.
- Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and enterprise application support.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
