Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own customer-facing features end to end across frontend, backend, APIs, data models, and AI-powered workflows.
- Lead frontend implementation for complex products, including architecture, state management, application design, and performance.
- Improve the performance, maintainability, developer experience, and technical quality of the React application.
- Build reusable abstractions, components, frameworks, and patterns.
- Partner with product and design to turn customer problems into elegant product experiences and iterate on feedback.
- Evaluate, experiment with, and operationalize AI coding agents and AI-assisted development workflows.
Requirements
- At least four years of software engineering experience building and shipping production software.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
- Deep frontend expertise building large React applications, including architecture, performance, maintainability, and developer experience.
- A product mindset and experience owning customer-facing features from idea through launch.
- Experience partnering with product managers and designers to create polished user experiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A bias toward ownership and shipping in fast-moving environments.
- Experience using AI coding agents in daily development workflows.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Storybook, and data visualization libraries such as Visx, D3, or Chart.js is preferred.
- Experience improving frontend performance, application architecture, build systems, or developer experience at scale is preferred.
- Experience with B2B SaaS, operational software, support tooling, or workflow-heavy products is preferred.
